ADP: Private sector added 179,000 jobs in May

The private sector added 179,000 jobs in May, according to the ADP's latest National Employment Report. This brought up total employment level 2.06 percent higher than it was in May 2013.

Yesterday, private staffing and business services firm ADP released the latest installment of their National Employment Report indicating that the situation for private employment in the US improved in May as private employers added 179,000 jobs in the month bringing the total employment level 2.06 percent above the level seen in May 2013. 

Look for Friday’s (possibly postponed) BLS Employment Situation Report to likely show somewhat similar trends.
