You don't always need an advanced degree degree in order to make more than $100,000 a year. According to Glassdoor, a jobs and recruiting site, here are ten lesser-known occupations that earn a substantial salary. Can you guess which occupation is more lucrative than the rest?

An airline pilot, responsible for safely flying commercial or private aircrafts, make a median $134,000 annual salary. Pilots typically have an undergraduate degree, as well as a commercial pilot's license and an Airline Transport Pilot certificate. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, pilots will see a 5 percent increase in employment opportunities over the next decade, compared to the market average of 7 percent.
