Bentonville, known as the headquarters of Wal-Mart, happens to also be an attractive town for working parents and their families, as demonstrated by the nearly 39 percent of households with children and the GreatSchools rating of 9. The region is home to other Fortune 500 companies, such as Tyson Foods and J.B. Hunt, so it’s not surprising to see that Bentonville’s workers enjoy the shortest average commute time of any city in the top 10.
