Back in 2007, McDonald's briefly tried to trademark the Snack Wrap name, but it didn't work out. For its part, Burger King originally wanted to go a different route than McDonald’s highly popular chicken snack wraps and tested a version of the item that was panini-pressed. But customers preferred a version that nearly replicates the McDonald’s snack wraps, right down to the sauces. Burger King’s snack wraps come with crispy chicken and a choice of ranch or honey mustard dressing, wrapped in a flour tortilla along with lettuce and shredded cheese.
So far, these offerings are limited in comparison to McDonald's, which offers versions with grilled chicken and Angus beef, as well as more sauce options.
