'Super Sad True Love Story' TV adaptation will reportedly be directed by Ben Stiller
Actor and director Ben Stiller will reportedly direct a TV adaptation of Gary Shteyngart’s book “Super Sad True Love Story."
Shteyngart is also behind such works as the memoir “Little Failure,” which Monitor critic Heller McAlpin called “alternately hilarious and surprisingly sincere.”
According to Deadline, Shteyngart will co-write the show and Stiller is expected to direct more than one episode. In addition to starring in various films, Stiller has directed such projects as the 2013 movie “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and the the 2008 film “Tropic Thunder.”
