'The Casual Vacancy': Check out the trailer for the TV adaptation

'Vacancy' debuts on the BBC on Feb. 15.

'The Casual Vacancy' is by J.K. Rowling.

A trailer has been released for the upcoming BBC adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s novel “The Casual Vacancy.”

“Vacancy” was released in 2012 and centers on the citizens of the town of Pagford. When a member of the parish council dies unexpectedly, an election for the open seat quickly turns the town upside down. 

The cast includes actor Michael Gambon, who starred as Albus Dumbledore in the “Harry Potter” films, as well as Monica Dolan, Rory Kinnear, and others. 

The TV adaptations debuts in the UK on Feb. 15, but it has not yet been announced when it will be released in America.
