Daniel Radcliffe to star in film adaptation of Dave Eggers novel
Actor Daniel Radcliffe is reported to be starring in another literary movie adaptation.
According to Variety, the "Kill Your Darlings" actor has signed on to star in a film version of Dave Eggers' novel "You Shall Know Our Velocity," which centers on a young man named Will whose friend recently died and who wants to bring his friend's ashes to the Egyptian pyramids. Along with his friend Hand, Will also wants to distribute to those in need the insurance money they received because of their friend's death.
Peter Sollett, of the 2008 movie "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," is set to direct, according to Variety.
"Velocity" was first published in 2002.
Radcliffe is currently starring on Broadway in the production "The Cripple of Inishmaan" and appeared in the 2013 film "Kill Your Darlings" as well as the "Harry Potter" series, the eighth and final installment of which was released in 2011.
