Inauguration stories from the rest of us
Under the heading of "January 20, 2009: True Stories, Real People, One Day," WEbook.com is collecting stories about Inauguration Day 2009. These are not the stories of celebrity invitees, but rather, the stories of all the rest of us.
WEbook.com is an online community that allows writers, readers, and "feedbackers" to publish what they call "community-sourced" books.
WEbook.com will be collecting inauguration stories from January 20, 2009 up through midnight January 21, 2009 (Eastern standard time.) The stories will be published within two weeks of the inauguration in a book to be sold on WEbook.com and Amazon.com for $9.99.
All profits will go to 826 National (www.826National.org), a nonprofit tutoring, writing, and publishing organization.
To find out about participating, contact: Rita Larchar, 5W Public Relations, 212-584-4271, or rlarchar@5wpr.com.
