Nature Loves to Hide

It is not often you find a writer on theoretical physics who can present the topic to you in a language and style you can understand and that makes you want to read it, but Nature Loves To Hide by Shimon Malin, a professor of theoretical physics, has done it. He writes on the topic of the nature of reality as only an excellent teacher and thoughtful poet/philosopher can. If you are curious about quantum mechanics and the work of the major 20th-century physicists but feel it is beyond you and have decided therefore to let it go, this book might just be for you. More important, he ties the physical theories to ideas in Western philosophy and presents a new (non-Newtonian) paradigm of reality. I read and reread sections gaining new insights each time. A seminal work for me.
