Shades of Gray

I'm reading a fantastic historical novel called Shades of Gray. It's a beautifully written epic love story by a first-time author Jessica James. In a nut-shell, the book gives a rare look into the minds of civilians and soldiers during the War Between the States and the principals and values that led them to make the decisions they did. The verse is written in a 19th-century style, so readers really get a taste the era. Great Christian values throughout as well! I am thoroughly enjoying it!
