Reader recommendation: The Burglary

Monitor readers share their favorite book picks.

Betty Medsger's The Burglary, which begins with the burglary of files in the Media, Pa., FBI office in 1971 and travels forward in its discussion of FBI activities since that time, was a truly fascinating book to read. In addition to bringing back memories of Vietnam-War protests, the book's discussion of more recent FBI and NSA actions has made me appreciate Edward Snowden much more!
