Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

"From a Sealed Room" writer Kadish's new novel goes back and forth between 17th-century London and a time close to our modern day, as historian Helen Watt attempts to figure out who wrote newly discovered documents and whether it was a Jewish woman, which would have been unusual for the time. It's "a big, emotional novel with a mystery at its core," Schluep says.
