Ted Goossen translates the newest work by "Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage" writer Murakami. The short novel follows a boy who goes to return his books at the library and is taken captive by an elderly man who makes him memorize sections of books. The boy tries to escape with the help of a girl and a sheep man. Illustrations are by Chip Kidd. Nelson calls it "dreamlike." "It's a little dark, surreal," she say. "It has these amazing illustrations.... [I]t's moody and about a child's dark fantasies."
