Hobbs, writer of the novel "The Tourists," tells the story of his college roommate Robert Peace, who grew up in a rough section of Newark but excelled as a student and was accepted to Yale University. However, once he graduated, Peace got caught up in the world of drugs in his hometown. "This is a really important book," says Nelson. "It's about the relationship between these two guys [Hobbs and Peace], it's about race, and it's about the system. It's a tragic story."
