10 best books of June, according to The Christian Science Monitor

Here are the 10 June books to which the Monitor's book reviewers gave their most enthusiastic thumbs-up.

7. "We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves," by Karen Joy Fowler

To share too much of the plot of the latest novel by bestselling author Karen Joy Fowler ("The Jane Austen Book Club") is to stray into spoiler territory. Suffice it to say that We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves is the story of a troubled family. The sister went missing years ago and the parents and siblings she left behind have never been the same since. But really, it's a story about love – who we love, why we love, and how we love. It's also a story not to be missed. It's among the best of 2013 fiction. You can read our full review here.
