10. "River Inside the River," by Gregory Orr

Gregory Orr has a reputation as a master of short, lyric free verse. River Inside the River, his twelfth collection of poetry, is comprised of three poetic sequences. These include meditations on the story of Adam and Eve, a city where every house is a poem, and the power of verse to restore loss.
