This is probably one of the most inspiring stories of athleticism ever. The night before he turned 40, overweight dad Rich Roll had to stop while going up the stairs of his house to catch his breath. That year he started a strict all-produce diet and began fitness training. Within six months he was competing in marathons and Ironmans (super-intense triathalons) and within three years he was named one of the fittest people alive. He is one of two people to finish the Epic5 challenge – that is, five Ironmans on the five islands of Hawaii in under a week.
