Dianna Wynne Jones is an author whose works have achieved cult classic status among fantasy fans. (Her novel "Howl's Moving Castle" was adapted into an animated movie by Hayao Miyazaki.) "Dogsbody" is the story of a powerful being, Sirius, the Dog Star, who is framed for a murder he did not commit. As punishment, his consciousness is sent to earth into the body of a dog where he faces a next-to-impossible mission. Jones was a master of her craft, and this is a title that deserves recognition.
