As much as he bares his soul in “West by West,” the man known as “Mr. Clutch” for his NBA sharpshooting, says that for personal reasons, he remains reluctant to travel to Boston. Presumably, one of those reasons stems from the Lakers’ regular losses to the Celtics – six times in the league finals during the 1960s. He says he was so disconsolate that he wanted to quit basketball.
