The first copy of this book that I got my hands on was the bilingual edition, with English and Spanish on each page. My native English speakers got a kick out of learning new words, and my native Spanish speakers loved teaching their friends. In this story, the clever cat, Meeow, uses everyday items and a little imagination to build himself a fire engine. I love that Meeow had my students thinking about new, abstract ways to use boxes, chairs, and colors. Que listo eres, Miau!
