Winehouse says that during 2004, he and others became worried about Amy's drinking habits and gathered to talk about it. "The subject of rehab came up – the first time that anyone had mentioned it," he wrote of the discussion. "I was against it. I thought she'd just had one too many this time, and rehab seemed an overreaction. 'I think she's fine,' I told everyone." Amy Winehouse later turned the reaction into a line in her song "Rehab" – "My daddy thinks I'm fine." Winehouse later changed his stance and Amy Winehouse went to a rehabilitation facility.
