After his mother Ann married a man named Lolo Soetoro, a fellow student from Indonesia, Obama moved with his mother and Soetoro to Jakarta. A former third-grade teacher of his named Fermina Katarina Sinaga recalled a paper Obama wrote while a student in her classroom (the paper no longer exists). "My name is Barry Soetoro," read the paper, according to Sinaga. "I am a third-grade student at SD Asisi. My mom is my idol... I have a lot of friends... Someday I want to be president.
