8. ‘Anatomy of the Nuremberg Trials,’ by Telford Taylor

Many view the Nuremberg Trials as a self-contained event that brought Nazi war criminals to justice. In actuality, as this memoir by the chief American prosecutor at the trials details, the Nuremberg trials had enormous impact on the course of international law.
