Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

The peddler in "Caps for Sale" markets his wares from a stack of caps on his own head. However, when the man pauses for a nap, monkeys descend on his wares. Soon the tree above the peddler is full of monkeys in caps, and he demands their return in the face of some lighthearted simian teasing.
