I'm a General Assignment Reporter based in Boston, Massachusetts. I started as a newsroom intern at the Monitor in early 2023 before becoming the 2023-24 Budge Sperling Fellow.
Before I came to the Christian Science Monitor, I was a local news reporter for the Bay Area News Group in my hometown of Vallejo, California. I was also the national beat reporter for my college newspaper, The Bottom Line. I'm a 2022 graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I studied Global Studies and French.
I'm interested in world culture, society, and solutions. Generally speaking, I'm interested in the ever-changing world and the people doing their best to live in it. "Every person's story, no matter how big or small, reflects the light of history."
