Madora Kibbe has been a contributing writer for The Christian Science Monitor for more than 35 years. Her work has also appeared in Bedford Magazine, Working Woman Magazine, and various other publications. She has written for radio, theater, and television.
She and her husband Jon moved back to Manhattan after raising their family in the suburbs. Jon is a founding partner of the law firm Richards, Kibbe & Orbe. Their son studies writing and art at The New School. Their daughter is a senior at George Washington University.
Madora writes a blog for Psychology Today called "Thinking Makes It So." She has also written a blog about the so-called Empty Nest Syndrome. She continues to write and blog in both a serious and humorous vein about all things mundane, sublime, and spiritual. She is a full-time Christian Science practitioner.
