Mengqi graduated from Tufts University in May 2016 with a double major in Economics and International Relations. Hailing from Shanghai, Mengqi started as a student journalist at her university's campus newspaper the Tufts Daily where she progressed to become the Managing Editor. She has previously written for the Boston Globe and completed an internship with WBUR, Boston's local NPR station.
Her interests include public policy, international affairs, and business.
