Jules Struck holds a master’s degree of journalism at Emerson College in Boston and a degree in French and international studies with a concentration on globalization and sustainability from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. She has freelanced for local news outlets around Boston and interned for Boston Magazine, the Patriot Ledger in Quincy, and Voice of America. She was a Monitor intern from May 2020 to August 2020.
Jules was co-editor-in-chief of her college newspaper, the Dickinsonian, and that’s where she discovered a love of local news. On weekends she explores the woodsy pockets of greater Boston to slow down from the bustle of the newsroom, and to think up story ideas.
