Ellen Powell joined the Monitor in September 2016 as a Rapid Response intern.
Ellen holds a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Cambridge (UK). She recently completed an MA in Russian and Eurasian studies at the European University at St. Petersburg (Russia). As a student, she co-authored two reports while interning at the Institute for Policy Studies, a DC thinktank.
Her interests include post-Soviet space, religion, languages, and energy.
