Soviet judges, officials draw praise for role at Olympics

Soviet Olympic officials in Los Angeles have been helpful and ''quietly complimentary'' about the games even though their athletes are not competing, organizers said Monday. The Soviet National Olympic Committee agreed before the games began that Soviet judges and officials would attend. US Olympic officials attended the 1980 games in Moscow, but did not judge.
