Canadian neighbor urges US to move toward summit
The leader of Canada's major opposition party told Secretary of State George P. Shultz the United States should build on President Reagan's announced willingness for a US-Soviet summit by taking new ''risks on behalf of peace.''
Brian Mulroney, leader of the Progressive Conservative Party, told reporters that arms control, and by implication a possible summit, had been the No. 1 topic during the three-hour meeting on Wednesday between Shultz and Soviet Ambassador Anatoly Dobrynin.
