Ivory Coast leader talks of farm trade on US visit

Ivory Coast President Felix Houphouet-Boigny met with Agriculture Secretary John Block and members of Congress to discuss agricultural trade and the political situation in Africa.

Mr. Block told reporters after the Wednesday morning meeting that the discussion focused on scientific and technological exchange programs. He said the United States would work with the Ivory Coast on providing more agricultural technology.
