Treasury chief meeting West's money officials

US Treasury Secretary Donald Regan is here for a closed meeting of financial experts from five major industrial nations, in which the Reagan administration's new economic policies are expected to come unde fire. Poland's economic woes are also expected to ba a major topic of the meeting of the so-called Group of five, comprising the finance ministers and central bankers of the United States, Britain, West Germany, France, and Japan. The group meets about twice a year to coordinate the economic policies of the Western world.

It was their first gathering since President Reagan was sworn in, and the new US policy on international aid was expected to draw criticism.
